Weilerbach and Vicinity
If you take In der Nasserde, the street we live on, to the end, you end up in a
Naturshutzgebiet or Nature Protection Area. This is a path through the
shutzgebiet...
The same view after a light snowfall...
This is a shot from further on into the Naturshutzgebiet in
Weilerbach. The
foreground is part of the wetlands, nasserde auf Deutch, that is what gives our
street the name "In der Nasserde."
The view from on top of the hill in the photo above...
The view to the east from that same hill...
Weilerbach, not Kansas...
It rains a lot in Germany. Here's a view of fields just outside of town
after a particularly heavy rainstorm...
A stone barn and flooded steam...
The Protestant church in Weilerbach... it was built in 1898...
This is actually a view from the road to Eulenbis, a small town on a hill
above Weilerbach. The view looks to the south...
The view from our living room window...
Windmills above Eulenbis...
