Yep, Beautiful Palm Springs, CA.

Less foggy and rainy than Germany or Maine

Everyone goes to Palm Springs to play golf. This shot must have been taken about 5AM at sunrise. Otherwise, there would be lots of golfers.

Palm Canyon is on a Native American reservation. Palm Trees in the middle of the desert? There's a stream running through the Canyon that supplies the water necessary for the Palm Trees to survive.

Joshua Trees are another attraction of the desert.
